As one of the few accessible locations in Antarctica, Yalour Islands offer wildlife enthusiasts and travel photographers a chance to experience the region’s rugged beauty and abundant wildlife up close.
Conditions: Partially cloudy with lots of sunny spells. Unfortunately, due to wind direction, the landing site was completely blocked by ice, preventing us landing. What We Did: - Cruising around Yalour Islands on a Zodiac. - Whale spotting from the deck of the ship.
